Become a tutor at ARAS
Can you give one hour per week to help a New Zealand adult with improving her/his reading, spelling, etc?
Full training is given (free!)
Commitment as an ARAS tutor
At least one hour of tutoring time each week (plus preparation and travel)
Tutors must do a free tutor training course before being matched with a student
A commitment of 2 years tutoring with ARAS (after you complete your tutor training)
Attendance at regular ongoing tutor training throughout the year
Three monthly reports on student's progress are required (students and tutors complete these together)
